Prayer always works! Jesus said we should always pray and never give up. The disciple James reminds us that the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. God says if His people who are called by His Name repent and turn from their wicked ways, He will hear their prayers and heal their land. The Apostle Paul enjoins us to pray without ceasing.
Why? Because prayer is the one thing that changes everything. Prayer is a mighty spiritual weapon. When the Church rises up in earnest and intensive prayer, God responds! Something powerful happens when the Church rises up in earnest prayer: lives are transformed! God tells us in 1 John 5:14-15, “This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. So if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have whatever we asked of Him.” Therefore, at Renewal Christian Center, we will continue to pray to the faithful and all-powerful God, who hears us and answers our prayers.
