Wait And See What God Will Do

Moses heard the people of every family wailing, each at the entrance to his tent. The LORD became exceedingly angry and Moses was troubled.
He asked the LORD, “Why have you brought this trouble on your servant? What have I done to displease you that you have put the burden of all these people on me? Did I give them birth?...Where can I get meat for all these people? They keep wailing to me, “Give us meat to eat!” I cannot carry all these people by myself; the burden is too heavy for me. If this is how you are going to treat me, put me to death right now - if I have found favor in your eyes - and do not let me face my own ruin.” Numbers 11:10-15

These are the words of a very overwhelmed and frustrated person:
My burdens are too heavy for me to carry.
Why am I facing all this trouble?
Why is everybody against me ?
Why do people expect so much from me?
LORD, you are not treating me fairly; you have given me more than I can handle.
I think I would rather die than live and face a shameful ruin!
As humans, sometimes we get overwhelmed by the burdens we carry and the expectations people have of us. The burdens of marriage and family; the burdens of being a single mother who has to juggle career and children; the burdens of caring for a special needs child; the burdens of ensuring that there is enough financial security for the family; the burdens of ensuring that we are adequately caring for our spouses and children; the burdens of ensuring that we are fulfilling the ministry God has called us to...the list can be exhaustive.
One of the things I love about the Bible is that it is full of real stories. Stories that depict the actual human condition and how the Almighty God interacts with humans in their real daily struggles. No one is given a pass - not even the great leader Moses! So, we see the frustrations of Moses as he pleaded with God to put him to death because he could not handle things any longer! Moses was so overwhelmed that he would rather die than live!
But God was about to perform a spectacular miracle. The people were asking for meat in the middle of the desert - 600,000 people, not counting women and children! God caused quails to be blown in from the nearest sea which was about 50 miles away from where the Israelites were located in the desert. There was so much quail that it was piled up three feet high and spread as far as one could walk in a day - estimated to be about 700 square miles! Nothing is impossible with God. God will simply not give us responsibilities for which He has no solutions!
Question: Do you feel frustrated and overwhelmed? Don’t give up! Cry out to God with all your frustrations. Call upon Him in earnest and watch what God will do! God can blow in answers, solutions and help from all kinds of places. Stand still and watch what God will do!
