God Will Instruct You.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Do not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle.
Psalm 32:8-9

Life is full of critical decisions. One wrong decision can change the entire trajectory of our lives and shatter our future. So, how do we navigate the treacherous waters we run into from time to time? How do we make the right decisions so that our lives would not be derailed? Which way do we go when we find ourselves at the crossroads of life?

God gives us a very assuring answer: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
This is so heartwarming! God promises to give us counsel. He promises not to take His loving eyes off us!. This means God is watching over us continually. In fact the assurance gets even better when we remember what the Scripture says in 2 Chronicles 16:9, “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him…”

We also have an open invitation in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
So, the bottom line is that God is so committed to our success that He promises to instruct us in the way we should go and lovingly counsel us. He doesn’t want us to be without understanding like the horse or the mule. The question is: Are we willing to listen to God?

So, would you take time to seek divine counsel today? Would you draw close to our loving Father and receive instruction about which way to go this very day? God wants to guide you.
