You are More Than a Conqueror

What, then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for all of us - how will He not also, along with Him graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then, is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died - more than that who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?...
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am convinced, that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:31-39
What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Life has many challenges. Jesus did not promise that following Him will be trouble-free. Christianity is not a bed of roses to lie in. In fact, Jesus specifically says in John 16:33; "I have told you these things so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." David, the man after God's heart, highly favored and anointed by God, spoke these words in Psalm 34:19, "The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all."

You see: The enemy would want you to believe that you are going through trials and tribulations because either God is displeased with you or you simply don't have enough faith. The enemy can even use your fellow Christians or Church members to say the most hurtful and discouraging things to accuse you because you have your back against the wall!
But hold on! Remember the words of Jesus and David: "In this world you will have tribulation...many are the afflictions of the righteous!"

So, press on through whatever charges the enemy brings against you; it will not stand because Jesus is your Justifier and Vindicator! He is seated at the right hand of God, interceding for you. Believe passionately that you are more than a Conqueror regardless of whatever trials, accusations or challenges you may be going through! Believe that nothing can ever separate you from the love of God. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by any negative talk inspired by the enemy. The Lord will uphold you with His righteous right hand. You are more than a Conqueror. Believe it and live like one! Live like more than a Conqueror because you truly are!

Prayer: Father, I thank you that I am more than a Conqueror through Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior. I thank you that I am an overcomer because Jesus has already overcome on my behalf. I am confident that the situation I am dealing with will endure only for a night because joy is about to break forth in the morning. That is your word and I believe it. Amen!
