Our God is: God of the Hills And God of The Valleys.
And the prophet came to the King of Israel and said to him, "Go, strengthen yourself; take note, and see what you should do, for in the spring of the year the King of Syria will come up against you."
Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him, "Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they. So do this thing: Dismiss the kings, each from his position, and put captains in their places; and you shall muster an army like the army that you have lost, horse for horse and chariot for chariot. Then we will fight against them in the plain; surely we will be stronger than they." And he listened to their voice and did so.
So it was, in the spring of the year, that Ben-Hadad mustered the Syrians and went up to Aphek to fight against Israel.
. . . Now the children of Israel encamped before them like two little flocks of goats, while the Syrians filled the countryside.
Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, "Thus says the LORD: 'Because the Syrians have said, "The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,"therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the LORD.' "
. . . So it was that on the seventh day the battle was joined; and the children of Israel killed one hundred thousand foot soldiers of the Syrians in one day. But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; then a wall fell on twenty-seven thousand of the men who were left.
And Ben-Hadad fled and went into the city, into an inner chamber. I Kings 20:22-30 (NKJV)

Really? Our Almighty Creator God is only victorious in the hills and not in the valleys? The God of all creation and all nature can prevail only in the Mountains and not in the Valleys? The God who parted the Red Sea? The God who parted the Jordan? The God who caused the Wall of Jericho to tumble down with no human implement touching it? The God who shut the mouth of lions to protect Daniel?
The God who turned a fiery furnace of fire into an air-conditioned environment to protect His children? The God who caused both the Sun and the Moon to stand still at the request of Joshua so that the enemies of God could be annihilated? The God who caused barren Hannah to conceive? The God who spoke and calmed the stormy sea of Galilee? The God who brought money out of the mouth of a fish?
You see: If you have an idea of who God is, but have no intimate relationship with Him, you will only be privy to some of His reported acts but you will never fully understand the larger spectrum of His unbridled power, His immeasurable grace and His insatiable desire to bless His children whether in Mountain or Valley situations. Our God is God both in the mountain and in the valley.
Ben-Hadad had no idea of who God is: To him, God's power was limited like that of his false gods in the plains. But God showed him otherwise through the sound defeat they suffered.
Many times, the Enemy confuses us to believe that the power of God is limited and that there are certain situations that are too difficult to believe God for! No! Never believe that!
The God who heals illnesses and diseases can also give financial miracles; He can save "unsavable" loved ones; He can turn impossible legal messes around in our favor; He can fight our battles for us on our jobs and businesses; He can bring us that spouse we have been praying for for so long; He can cause barren wombs to be fruitful. Our God is God of the Valleys and God of the Plains. Your situation is covered by Him! Fight on in faith!

Prayer: Father, I will press on with the battle because I know my situation is totally covered by your grace and power. Amen.
