Order Your Life Around God's Plan
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
This is one of the most comforting and reassuring passages of Scripture. This is definite divine assurance that God has a purpose and plan for our individual lives. That plan is meant to bring us prosperity and hope. A prosperous person is simply someone who is living out his or her divine destiny under the guidance of the Almighty.
Living under divine guidance means God will supply everything we need to accomplish His plans for our lives. In that sense, we are prosperous because we will lack nothing since God takes care of everything on our behalf. Our hard work, our planning, our daily living is all under His mighty care. That is true prosperity.
If we agree that God has a plan for our lives, then it is imperative that we order our lives around that plan. If you want your life to make a difference in this world, then you must order your life around your God-given vision. Even if no one stands with you, don't give up on your dream; work hard toward it, persevere and hang on!
There will be times when people might attack you because they don't see what you see or because you are not allowing them to hijack your vision or hold it hostage. They either want to take you in the direction they want to fulfill their own agenda or they want to hold your dream hostage until it dies. Wake up and be vigilant. Order your life around God's plan for you.
