Cry Out To God

If I were you, I would go to God and present my case to Him.
He does great things too marvelous to understand.
He performs countless miracles.
He gives rain for the earth and water for the fields.
He gives prosperity to the poor and protects those who suffer.
He frustrates the plans of schemers so the work of their hands will not succeed. . .
He rescues the poor from the cutting words of the strong, and rescues them from the clutches of the powerful.  Job 5:8-15
Job's friend had come to the realization that the best counsel he could give Job was to encourage him to take his case to God. He reminded Job that God does marvelous things. God works miracles. God saves the powerless from the hands of the powerful. God has the power to frustrate and nullify the schemes of the wicked.

So question: Do you feel helpless and powerless? Are you overwhelmed by your circumstances? Are there people who are seeking to suppress you and take undue advantage of you? Then cry out to the God of miracles. Cry out to the One who has the power to shut the mouths of your detractors. Cry out to the One who has the ability to nullify any plans of the enemy against you. His eyes are upon you and His ears are open to your cry!

Prayer: Unto you Lord, do I lift up my eyes. You have promised that those who trust in you will never have their faces covered in shame. I look up to you and you alone. Amen.
