May the LORD Answer You.

May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the Name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May He remember all your sacrifices (your gifts) . . .  May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.  . . .
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember (trust in) the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
LORD, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call. (Psalm 20:1-5; 7-9)

The LORD knows what you are going through at this very moment. He sees your tears and hears your deepest groanings. He understands your fears and distress. He cares deeply about your situation. He has promised never to leave nor forsake you. God is a Promise Keeper, He will watch over His word to perform it in your life.

He is "breaking" you only because He is preparing to multiply you as a blessing and testimony to many others. God breaks before He multiplies. He broke the five loaves of bread before He multiplied it to feed the 5000. He broke Moses in the desert for forty years before He used Him to redeem the Israelites from slavery. He broke the body of Jesus before using Him to redeem the world. Hang on, you are in good company. God is working things out for your good.

May God send you help and grant you support from Heaven. May God remember all you have sown into His Kingdom by way of Time, Talents, and Treasures and reward you bountifully.
Many will shout on your day of victory. Because you trust in the name of the LORD and not in horses and chariots, you will rise and stand firm.
May the LORD answer you.

Prayer: LORD, like the songwriter says, "You are my strength when I am weak. You are the Treasure that I seek; You are my all in all." I look to you and you alone. I have no chariots or horses to depend on. Hear my cry O, LORD; for upon you I wait in expectation.
