This Is The Word of The LORD
While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to Him a second time: "This is what the LORD says, He who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it -- the LORD is His name: 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says about the houses in this city and the royal palaces of Judah that have been torn down to be used against the siege ramps and the sword in the fight with the Babylonians: 'They will be filled with the dead bodies of the people I will slay in my anger and wrath. I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness.
" 'Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. . . . and will rebuild them as they were before. . . . Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth . . ."

The LORD is my name.
This city which is experiencing turmoil because of their sin and wickedness; this city from which I have hidden my face in anger, will not remain decimated forever. I will bring health and healing to it. My people will once more be healed and they will enjoy the abundance and prosperity I first gave them in the Promised Land. My people will have security again; I will rebuild them as before. In fact, this destroyed city is about to become my pride and joy. I have designated it to bring me praise and renown before all the nations on earth!
Question: Do you feel as though your life is decimated beyond repair? Do you feel as if God has turned His back on you and allowed you to enter a bitter life of destitution? Do you feel as though your sins have put you in an irreversible predicament?
Well, this is the word of the LORD to you today:
Call upon me and I will show you the amazing things I have in store for you beyond your current pain and frustration. I will show you great and unsearchable things yet to be known!
I have plans to restore your life to a far better state. I am about to rebuild you. Your life is about to bring me joy, peace, and renown among the nations. I am about to announce you to the world! This is the word of the LORD to you today! He will watch over His word to perform it.
