God Has It Already Figured Out
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go up this mountain in the Abarim Range and see the land I have given the Israelites. After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people...for when the community rebelled at the waters in the Desert of Zin...you disobeyed my command to honor me as holy before their eyes."
...Moses said to the LORD, "May the LORD...appoint someone over this community to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the LORD's people will not be like sheep without a shepherd."
So the LORD said to Moses, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him." Numbers 27:12-18.

Moses had a heart of gold. He was a true servant of God who selflessly cared for the wellbeing of those he served. He was about to pay dearly for his personal sin. He would not see the land for which he had labored for forty years. But Moses did not bemoan his situation. He was more concerned about the future of God's children. He wanted to ensure that they had a genuine person to succeed him as their shepherd!
The good news is that his request was no surprise to God. God already had a solution in place in the person of Joshua, Moses' faithful aide and warrior par excellence!
Scripture tells us that we should not be anxious about anything but in all things by prayer and supplication, we should boldly make our case before the Lord and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Why? Because God has it already figured out!
Every day of your life has been written in God's book before lt unfolds in the annals of history and time. God has your situation already figured out. Don't live in anxiety. Don't sweat the details of life. Have a genuine spirit like that of Moses for the fulfillment of God's kingdom agenda. Put God's kingdom first in your thinking and actions and God will bless you with solutions you can never dream of.

Prayer: Father, I thank you that every day of my life is known by you. You have it all figured out. Please help me to simply trust in you, knowing that the answers are already in place. Amen.
